Walton County has very competitive pay. The coaching stipends at the high school are modest at best, but the overall county supplement towards the teacher salary is higher than Gwinnett (after about 5 years in). The administrations at WGHS and YMS are very supportive of their teachers and the surrounding area is terrific if you want a good place for your own children to go to school.
YMS – there is a Coach in place that will help oversee the program, but we are also looking for a younger, more hands on coach to help out with the program. This is a USA program at this time. If you love coaching the sport and want to keep your hands off of the organizing and paperwork involved this could be a good fit for you.
WGHS Due to family matters, we will also have an assistant coaching slot available at the high school. Most of our team next year will consist of 9th, 10th, and 11th graders. We have only recently added a viable USA program beneath us, so our best seasons are ahead.
At the high school, we are going through a head football coaching change. We will likely have many different positions available. Especially if you enjoy coaching both, but this is not a requirement…just a plus.
If you’re interested in either of these locations and would like to know more please feel free to contact me at email@example.com
We are also interested in adding Community Coaches.
