InactiveThis topic came up yesterday and I shared with some others today and it is actually pretty interesting…
Question: Who from Georgia is undefeated vs any Georgia wrestler in any match with a score/clock keeper and somebody reffing for the last 369 Days?In other words, which Georgia wrestlers have not stood across the circle and seen another Georgia kid’s hand raised in any tournament, venue, wrestle-off, style, including last year’s high school State tournament or youth state tournament if the wrestler is a current freshman.
We actually had trouble naming very many wrestlers. We could think of only 4, but we think there are more.- This topic was modified 4 years, 2 months ago by

InactiveTriston Bozoian Buford’s 182 # is undefeated this year.
Note: He was sick and did not make two of the out of state trips to the loaded tournaments to The Stampede and Ohio. Nevertheless, he went undefeated during his entire Senior season.
If you are basing this totally off a GA vs. a GA wrestler – there should be quite a few more, I would think: Burdick, Hunt, Eller, Mossisey, Statia, Potts, Bates, Forrestor? It would be good to find out and know.
If you are talking totally undefeated all year not counting out of state tough tournaments- that is another thing altogether.

InactiveRicky,
Can’t have lost ANY match at ANY tournament to a Georgia wrestler for the last 369 days… No FS/G matches, no wrestle offs, no AAU tournaments, no National Tournaments. Which wrestler has not lost even one match to a Georgia wrestler? Not as many as you think. In fact, most of the names you added have lost at least one match to Georgia wrestlers in the last 369 days.
Here are 4 that I know for sure, only because I know their careers well:
Masters
Mannella
DiSario
RuffinFebruary 12, 2018 at 7:09 pm #9996Anonymous
InactiveBozo (Buford) and Carroll (North Forsyth) split at S32Q. Both went undefeated through the season but record a loss in the past 365 days.

InactiveMorrisey is undefeated.
64-0 this HS season. He did lose at preason nats in Iowa to kid from OH who is #8 on Sophmore big board. But it was good match.February 12, 2018 at 8:12 pm #10001Anonymous
InactiveBoth Noah Liles and Paul Robinson are undefeated this season.
Liles 2nd consecutive season being undefeated.
I’m not sure if either of them lost to a GA wrestler outside of the regular folkstyle season.February 13, 2018 at 12:09 am #10007Anonymous
InactiveBus, I’m a huge Morrissey fan… but he didn’t wrestle at State last year… Had to have won state to be considered undefeated for the last 369 days… technically he took two losses at state after qualifying as a runner up at sectionals.

InactiveCook,
I believe you are right about Paul… Can you dig a little and double check on those two?February 13, 2018 at 1:33 am #10011Anonymous
InactiveBuford’s 182 lost to camdens 182 at Jazz town 4-2 (exhibition), and camdens 182 is way better now

InactiveLiles last loss to GA wrestler 2/11/16.
Robinson’s last loss to GA wrestler 1/28/17.February 13, 2018 at 3:27 am #10018Anonymous
InactiveMaybe I’m still not quite thinking clearly from all of the Destinesia IPA I drank over the weekend at Ocmulgee Brew Pub between rounds, but am I the only one that doesn’t get the point of this post? NEWS FLASH: Ruffin and Robinson did not get scholarships to wrestle in college because they went undefeated against all other Georgia wrestlers in the last year. I wonder if Golhoffer or Hunt would rather be listed on this list instead of where they are currently listed – FLO and InterMat. Oh wait, they must have lost a wrestle-off in the last year because I did not see either of their names listed. Please don’t let Nate Engel see this, he may pull Tyler’s offer from the Navel Academy.

InactiveI was thinking the same thing. Can we put this in the Golhoffer category of who gives a ??
What are we going to do next, rank the kids based on their actual age instead of grade? Oh wait, we have done that.
“But Mr, Sanderson, my little Johnny hasn’t lost in 421 days to another GA kid”
