After NHSCA’s this weekend I have to say Ga is not far behind as far as skills and technique, but as a state we are a bit behind when it comes to being physical and being used to it. This is not knock our wrestling. Our refs have got to let these kids wrestle. I don’t think I saw one call for unnecessary roughness on a crossface or a shot on the edge of the mat. I saw a few shoves and hard tie ups that the refs let go, and I expect them to. Our refs have got to get on the same boat. This is just my opinion, and like I said this is not to knock our wrestling or officials, just saying let these kids go at it.
